I don’t know if you ever wonder …why did (inset designer here) start creating in Second life?
Well, personally I started for the pure fact that I didn’t want to break my bank on linden dollars. My First Creation was a very stripped down skin. It looked funky in every way. Through the awesome help of Chip Midnights Templates, Adobe Photo Shop 7.0, the very primitive AVPAINTER and months of work I made something somewhat presentable. At the time they were personal skins. I never had the intent on ever selling anything here in SL just enjoying my creations. Eventually hanging out in Wengen (a starting area) I seen allot of New Avatars, naked to the core, and started passing on my skins for the well being of everyone who had to look at them. I continued to tweak and test me skins out on my much loved Lab rats. Through tons of constructive critism and more hours of work I got to a place where my skins were actualy pretty nice. I gave a test go at sending out tons of skins for trial. The results were back… they were well recieved.
Here comes the addiction part! I needed $L to satisfy my shopping habbits and wasn’t about to start camping. It was time to sell. I started adding clothing, prim lashes, Horror items, and all sorts of strange things to my collection. My first shop was set up at a friends parcel and then another friends parcel Thank you to Wrex, Ana and TanTan again with out thoes two I would’nt have the spot I have now. Thank you to Slips for shop creation. It was a great lesson on how to snap things to the grid
I am totaly greatfulllll for that.
Well, that’s how I got started. Im sure if you are a resident or designer you can some how relate
Well That’s it for now
