Heya all I got this skin fix from Agea
Thank you Agea!
Infact it is exactly what she sent me about the burgundy skin issue. It seems like nvidia’s recent driver is having a bit of rendering issues with our recent Second Life client. Here is one of the suggested instructions that you can do to check if the problem gets fixed. This istruction actually ask you to go to 3rd party website. While we believe this site is harmless, we can’t gurantee that all their downloads are 100% safe so you are downloading them at your risk.
Please go to http://downloads.guru3d.com/
look for Videocards – NVIDIA GeForce (XP 32-bit) (545 files) link. (this is if you are using windows XP 32 bits) browse thru drivers and choose a driver that is not later than 175.x.x. (that means the driver you are downloading must be 174 or less)
After downloading is completed, please install the driver to “downgrade” your nvidia graphic card version. After all the process is finished, please test again see if the problem is fixed. If the problem continues to happen, please contact us again.
